Baylor Bears Player Tevin Reese was born on Jan. 2, 1991 in Temple, Texas to Ruby Reese. He grew up in Temple and attended Temple High School.
During his years at Temple, Tevin Reese was known for his athletic skills on the track and football teams. Tevin Reese set the new school records in an impressive three events: triple jump, long jump and 300-meter hurdles. As far as football, Tevin Reese was ranked by Scout.com as the 109th best wide receiver in the U.S. This was due especially to his senior year where he totaled 542 yards and three touchdowns from 31 receptions and as far as running, Tevin Reese ran 391 yards on 17 kick returns.
The Austin-American statesman named him as one of the top 50 area athletes for the 2007-08 school. Tevin Reese had the opportunity to play on the USA Football Junior team in the summer of 2009 as well.
Tevin Reese began classes and training with the Baylor Bears in January 2010. By spring training, it was clear Tevin Reese would be the second top inside receiver.
