Number 10 Robert Griffin was born on February 12, 1990 and grew up in Copperas Cove, Texas. At Copperas Cove High School, Robert Griffin was a standout in football and track. On the gridiron, Robert Griffin led the team as quarterback for a two season record of 25-4. He rushed for 1,285 yards and 24 touchdowns during his senior year and he also passed for 1,356 yards and 16 touchdowns. Robert Griffin helped the team advance to playoffs. In track, he was a record setting hurdler. In fact, he established state records in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and was only a hundredth of a second from setting the national record! WOW!

In 2008, Robert Griffin stepped on the football field with the Baylor Bears. He was the youngest starting quarterback in the country after sitting out the first four games and starting all the rest. He ended the season with 2,091 yards passing with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. He broke several school records and was an MVP.

And then he went on to join the Baylor track team. He became a track All-American after finishing third at NCAA Outdoor Championships in 400-meter hurdles. He ran the fastest 400 meter hurdle time in Baylor school history and was first in the Big 12.
