Number 43, Reggie Rice, was born on September 20, 1988 and grew up in Houston, Texas. He played high school ball for Eisenhower High School and was a team leader and strong athlete. He was all-county in three sports. On the football field, Reggie Rice rushed for 888 yards his senior year and made 79 tackles, too. During his junior year, he rushed for more than 500 yards and notched 99 tackles.
After high school, Reggie Rice headed off to the New Mexico Military Institute. He redshirted his freshman year in 2006. In 2007, Reggie Rice played in all 11 games and earned four starts. By season's end, Reggie Rice had 12 solo and 10 assisted tackles.
