Michael Valdez grew up in Humble, Texas. He attended Atascocita High School and graduated in spring 2009.
On the Atascocita High School football squad, Michael Valdez was known for his smaller size but big heart. He saw lots of playing time especially during his junior and senior year and earned a starting role both times.
