Fredric Pleius was born on February 19, 1988 and grew up in Lennoxville, Quebec. On his high school football team at Champlain Prep School, Fredric Pleius made 77 tackles, 5 sacks, and two interceptions during his senior year as a linebacker. He was recognized as the team MVP.
In 2008, Fredric Pleius decided to redshirt. Fredric Pleius is the first ever Canadian recruit that the Baylor Bears have successfully added to their roster.
