Baylor Bears Player Chance Casey was born on March 11, 1991 in Southlake, Texas. He grew up in Crosby, Texas and graduated from Crosby High School in 2009.
Crosby High School afforded Chance Casey the opportunity to compete on the football and track teams; he was very successful at both. On the football squad, Chance Casey tallied over 3,000 rushing yards and was nationally ranked by both ESNP and Rivals.com. Chance Casey was recognized with first-team All-District 19-4A honors during his senior season and in his junior year he was recognized as the District 21-4A offensive MVP.
Chance Casey was one of just a handful of true freshman to play on the Baylor Bears football squad during fall 2009. Chance Casey competed in all 12 games and half of those were starts and this earned Chance Casey his first Baylor Bears varsity letter.
Chance Casey made 36 tackles and recorded two interceptions which was top among Baylor Bears football system. He also had the Bayblor Bear's longest two returns of season. One was a 66-yard interception and the other was a 62-yard punt. Marks like this got noticed. Chance Casey was named to All-Big 12 Freshman team by multiple media outlets.
